Batuhan Kav
I am resuming writing my articles, which I had paused for many years, on topics that fall within the theoretical physics-chemistry-biology triangle. For the past ten years, I have been conducting theoretical and computational studies on proteins, lipid membranes, and their possible biological functions. From time to time, I also publish popular science articles on topics that catch my interest during this process. My articles have previously been published in Kimyablog, Açık Bilim, and Herkes İçin Bilim ve Teknoloji. I completed my bachelor's degree in chemistry at Bilkent University, my master's degree in physics at Koç University, and my PhD in theoretical physics at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces (Germany). I am currently working as a researcher focusing on protein aggregation at the Jülich Research Centre (Germany).
